The remarkable Panasonic Viera TX-P46VT20 brings you brilliant pictures in 2D and 3D and provides access to subscription free high definition TV via built-in freesat and Freeview HD tuners.

To watch Freeview HD broadcasts you’ll need to check that you can receive it in your area. Click here to find out more about Freeview HD.

To enjoy freesat broadcasts you will need a dish and cabling installed. freesat does not require a contract or a subscription – just a one-off payment for your dish and installation. To organise installation, please visit or call one of our shops. Click here to find out more about freesat.

The TX-P46VT20 uses innovative 3D NeoPDP technology to bring you an incredibly immersive experience when watching 3D content. This includes the ‘Frame Sequential’ method which sends a Full HD image to each eye individually, controlled by the 3D Active glasses (2 pairs included). This means images for each eye are reproduced in their full resolution.

Crosstalk Reduction will reduce any ghosting effects that are associated with 3D. This technology ensures a smooth and sweeping motion and pin sharp 3D images without those blurry double images.

Its state-of-the-art technology gives amazing picture quality in 2D as well. The 600Hz Intelligent Frame Creation provides fantastic resolution even during fast moving scenes – something football fans and film buffs will both appreciate.

Sound is enhanced with its in-built V-Audio ProSurround sound technology, while the 24p Real Cinema settings offers judder-free playback, giving a smooth ‘film’ look. The 4 HDMI sockets allow you to hook-up your Blu-ray player, PVRs and games consoles with ease.

Thanks to the VieraCast feature you can access websites such as YouTube and Picasa by connecting the set to the internet. As more VieraCast optimised sites become available it’s easy to add them via the onscreen menu. And let’s not forget that the TX-P46VT20 is also DNLA (Digital Living Network Alliance) compatible. This enables you to access your photos and movies from a compatible device such as your PC across your home network. For instance, you could play your friends the latest DivX movie you’ve just downloaded, even though your computer is upstairs in the spare bedroom.

The TX-P46VT20 is also capable of playing footage straight from your camcorder in high-definition mode and you can view a slideshow of your photos - just remove the SD memory card from your digital still camera, and slip it in the slot.

Full HD 1080p
1080p is the purest form of high definition that a television can display. This leads to a smoother, more film-like image, which will satisfy sports and movie lovers alike. With a 1080p signal, the information that makes up an image is displayed “progressively” or all at once, rather than in an “interlaced” fashion.

Its a good deal I guess. I have the Sony 46NX713. I'm just not pleased with the Avatar 3D exclusivity to 2012 deal they've done. Way to stump the growth of the 3D format.

A good price on the TV, does it inc glasses and if so how many???? will vote hot on price

i havent seen any 3d films at the cinema, but people had told me that its brilliant and its almost like you can touch them. So i went down to currys to check out their range of 3d tvs and was utterly dissapointed. The 3d is not good at all, i feel this technology needs time to mature to a point where you can physically get the poop scared out of you when you watch a horror film. sorry if you dont agree but i feel its a valid opinion.

Just to let you know the reason it is voted cold. Very and the group are worse than rubbish. As soon as you mentioned voucher you will get cold because they claim it back many months later.
