Great price although whenever I try this software I realise my PC is rubbish at anything 3d :D

Although if I use the 2005 edition my PC gives some semi respectable results!

You should try 3DMark 2001 then, it would put your score in the tens of thousands, it then looks highly impressive. ;)

I do not put much trust in benchmarks as it is far too easy to manipulate the scores (you can never be sure about the exact level of details managed by the drivers and any kind of 'optimisation' would mean cheating ). However , it could be a useful tool to test PC components under stress and that's a good price for this product. Hot

If games had benchmarks implemented, there wouldn't be a need for this software, which is useful but far from perfect.

Wish all games had benchmarks like Tomb Raider did, so that you know how to tweak your hardware to get that framerate you want.
