Not sure if this is nation wide but Spinter Cell is worth a look if you want something more like a home console game. Ive clocked in over 25 hours onto it and still playing. Its a pretty poor port of SC3 but its still fun and playable. SSF4 is also worth picking up but after the 20 hour mark i found myself getting really bored...

Does that include Dead or Alive?oO

Maybe the questioner doesn't know the launch titles from memory? In any case, no.

Great deal. The 3DS and its games are plummeting in price but that's what happens when there's little or no software releases post launch. Shame, it's a great little system.
#8
Not voting as while it's a fair deal, many of these have been cheaper elsewhere. Also, it's not nationwide so very location specific too.
#9
Was just in the Romford store, no such pricing there.

Is this 3DS a failing conole or something? Seems to be price reductions on the hardware and games very early in the launch window - the WII held its price for what seemed like forever.

You can turn the 3d effec toff on this yeah? and it will still play DS games but is just alot more powerful?

Looks like it. It's just a gimmick.

No such deal in my Local either (I work there and done all the price changes for the tripple XP campaigns last night)
#13
I can confirm this deal is on at the Hull store. Just walked through the crowded Cex and Gamestation in the city centre and only had one streetpass hit when I checked at work...

Fuming! :p

I'm popping in to Brum tonight so will pop in and see if thye deal is on. I was tempted by Pilotwings on the launch day, but some ok'ish reviews put me off and I said if it come up for £20 or less I would get it, so if its there i'll grab it.

This is not store specific. It seems to be nationwide.

Huh... they were all £19.99 when I posted the links. Looks like they are changing the prices on the fly! Cheeky!

If you go here:

http://www.gamestation.co.uk/gs/games/nintendo-3ds/?attributeName1=Shop%20By&sortColumn=popular&sortTypeStr=DESC&inStockOnly=false&listerOnly=true&provenance=New&attributeValue2=4294966463&attributeValue1=63&attributeName2=Release%20Date

You can see that Poodle, and Lego SW are listed as £19.99, but prices change when you click on them :@

EDIT - However if you use the buy links from that page, they are added to the basket at the correct £19.99 price!

I think the 3DS is having birthing pains, but I wouldn't say it's 'failing'. Arguably the launch line-up was too weak for such an odd launch timing, with a price that many found too strong. It's a great little machine - I think once the software comes through, it'll pick up.

Also, it's no surprise that shops are starting to drop the price of 2-month-old software - surprised it took them so long!
#21
TBH this is the price the games should be anyway, with top titles around £25. Paying over £30 for handheld games always feels like a rip off.
#22
Same price instore at GAME, with a bonus 1000 points on your reward card (Worth £2.50) however Ghost Recon and Splinter Cell are NOT in the deal.

Also, Puzzle Bobble Universe 3DS is £12.99

It's selling around the same as the DS did at launch, which was also a poor launch in terms of software.

It doesn't help that the retailers priced it too high and tried to sell the games at such a premium.

Once some first party stuff comes out (read Zelda, Starfox, Mario Kart etc) they'll fly off the shelves.
#25
Puzzle Bobble Universe is only £12.99 been after that but was waiting for it to hit £15 so to get it for £12.99 is brill
#26
It got it for £12.99 from Game too. Brought it with points .... £0.49 to pay .... sweet !
#27
Anybody pick up Ghost Recon instore? Will check myself tomo if not.
