That's a serious lump of meat!
Is it 'No added water'? If so, it's a great deal.
#2
How much were you charged for delivery?

It does have added water, but even so its a massive amount of meat. It tastes lovely too!

& I wasn't charged anything for delivery, it was in with my normal shopping & I used a free delivery code.

What animal did this come from? it looks awful pale and man made
i would guess its about 10% actual pork

it is 3 packs for £10. You dont need to buy all carver ham. there is pork and stuffing, beef, chicken. all different types of meet. my mum bought this instore. its nice meat. heat added :D

It's horrible. I threw out the 1kg I bought last week after 2 slices of it. Now the peppered ham 400g and the honey / mustard ham 400g packs are very tasty and proper meat. The carver ham is squished up parts and IMO is vile (I said vile and not veal)

Ergh reformed meat.....

Remember that expression about people who know the price of everything and the value of nothing?

I've seen this is my local Asda too.

Better, in my opinion, is the 500g of hand carved ham(same packaging) which is £5 each and 3 for a tenner.

My absolute favourite though is the extra special butter basted Turkey - 3 for £10 and it is SUPERB!

Voted hot for bringing it to everyone's attention. If I could get a decent slice of beef at a reasonable price I'd be sorted for the next 3 months :)

And why is that?

Cant help think of this:
Jules Winnfield:
Pigs are filthy animals. I don't eat filthy animals.
Vincent Vega:
Yeah but bacon tastes good. Pork chops taste good.
Jules Winnfield:
Hey, sewer rat may taste like pumpkin pie, but I'd never know 'cause I wouldn't eat the filthy mother-fu**ers. Pigs sleep and root in sh**. That's a filthy animal. I ain't eating nothing that ain't got sense enough to disregard his own feces.
Vincent Vega:
How 'bout a dog? Dog eats his own feces.
Jules Winnfield:
I don't eat dog either.
Vincent Vega:
Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal?
Jules Winnfield:
I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy, but they definitely dirty. But, dog's got personality; personality goes a long way.
Vincent Vega:
Ahh, so by that rational, if a pig had a better personality, he would cease to be a filthy animal. Is that true?
Jules Winnfield:
Well, we'd have to be talking one charming mother-fu**ing pig.

Or maybe dwpeep is Muslim, either way, more piggy godness for me :)

pigs can be trained better and easier than dogs, they got bigger brains. not their fault they tend to be grown in such tight places where all they can do is lay down in their own feaces. look at wild boars. do they sleep in a bed of crap?

have to agree this is reformed meat which is pumped up with water .but having said that is good value if you can eat this stuff .the best way to eat good ham is to buy a gammon joint [from asda] and boil it up.then you'll know the difference between the real mccoy and rubber as my other half says.also works out a lot better value
