I thought that LCD projectors did not need bulbs?

LCD not same as LED
LED projectors do not need bulbs (but the technology is a couple of years away
Maplins did do a cheap LED (only good for really dark room, 3 ft pictures) for around £100

Not bad for a data PJ but if yr looking for DVD/games then a second hand Sanyo Z series or new BenQ W100 will serve you better for similar money as both are 16:9, this is 4:3.

Actually with this having a native resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels it will still give a better widescreen resolution than the W100 ( whose native resolution is only 854 x 480).
A second hand projector is never a good deal unless its really cheap as the bulb could blow just after you get it leaving you with a £200+ bill for a new one.

This is actually a cracking deal.

I don't knowabout anyone else, but I went for this offer and have just received an InFocus X20 projector which is worth considerably less (and of a much lowe spec) than the 3M X20. I am about to ring Play now, but am not a happy camper. Where do I stand with this having been mis-sold? Am I entitled to the product I have paid for?

Cheers,

iecuk
