Been keeping an eye on these as im building a new house and screwfix & maplin are now doing the 3rd gen for £169.98... cheapest ive seen them and a great bit of kit...

I know some people dont see the point of these but at that price not much more than a standard programmable timer and you can turn heating off remotely if you forget or turn temp up on a cold night for when you come home. Also compatible with philips hue systems so good way to start your smart home.

If anyones found cheaper, let me know...

Just to clarify, 3rd gen 'supports' multizone but you need an additional thermostat for each additional zone...

Also £158 at Argos.

Looks nicer and probably better than salus. Would like to switch to this but system working well currently and scared of messing with our system boiler it's a complicated thing.
