Wall-e for £4 on Blu Ray? If anyone can confirm that this IS a national price, then that is an amazing price! (in fact, if anyone can grab me a copy, i'll pay for it plus postage and coverage...?)

Not trying to be pedantic, but 'proof' of this sort of deal, through the form of a photo, might be advisable... I probably won't be the only one asking for it - it's just too good a price to be true, otherwise :)

Yes, very believable. Not! If it's true, it's very store specific. Did you find them in the Once it's gone, it's gone bin? I scoured my local store for bargains such as those that crop up on this website. And there weren't any.

Again if anyone can pick me up a copy of Wall-E on bluray for £4 ill happily pay for delivery on top, would be greatly appreciated as its the only pixar film i do not have!
Send me a Pm if you can.

I went and bought wall- e and the incredable hulk on Thursday, told my mate we went back yesterday where he bought wall-e and mamma mia, i thought that for £4 i might as well get mamma mia too. my mate has the receipt as one transaction for fridays buy. Again this wasn't in the red bins its behind the counter in the drawer. We asked why they were so cheap was told it was EUK stock they were all disposing of.

Well it would be in your best interests, in order to preserve the integrity of posting this deal, to show said receipt, just to be sure

Curious to know how two separate days of buying/transactions could be on one till receipt 'as one transaction' though? Unless of course i've mis-understood what you meant.

Likewise, if you fancy going back and grabbing a copy of Wall-e on Blu Ray for me, then i'll be more than happy to pay you for it and cover postage costs, too...

Ring 01282 449196 and ask to be transfered to the entertainment bar. Ask them the price.

Why would they be hidden behind the counter - how are you expected to know what is for sale.Don't think they hide the carrots behind the counter do they.

+1 i will pay £11 for hulk and wall-e delivered:thumbsup:

Will go and see if any of my local Morrisons have Wall-E tomorrow for 4 quid. It's a stunning film, even better on Blu-Ray!
#16
I wouldn't pay £4 for Mamma Mia. I would give it space in my collection if someone paid me a tenner as rent.
#17
Wall-E (I never got it that it's pronounced Wally). I was saying WALL and then E. In any case, that's a superb film. Quite arty in places.

I don't see why so many people are slating the OP and suggesting this is BS..... All week people have quoted about buying relatively recent console games for £6 as they are clearing old unreturnable stock, so why is £4 for a Blu Ray so unbelievable, especially as none of the films mentioned are new....???

I think some people need to get a life rather than scouring on here for deals they can "dispute" and question people's integrity on. Sure if any poster is sad enough to make up a deal and go to the efforts of posting, then creating a charade of a story to make it seem real, then it is very pathetic, but in all honesty, how many people would waste their time. Benefit of the doubt should be the order of the day i would suggest....

yeah games are due to a certain company going bust and thus selling off stock. but blurays on the other hand are a differen kettle of fish...

I'm going near a Morrisons in about an hour so I'll pop in and have a look. If this price is true, and they allow me to buy more than 1 copy (cos I want them too!) I will pick some up for you all.
#23
I got Hulk & Sleeping Beauty 2 Disc Blurays for £4 each when I got the games at £6 each as well. They had loads of Mamma Mia on Blu-ray, but I got the last 1 of each of the above.

Yeah, a distribution company that control all media... including Blu rays!!
#25
I will admit, the EUK stock being sold off on the cheap does seem feasible, looking at it; but it's the fact that they said the items weren't on display and you had to ask for them, that seemed a bit odd (hence the pessimism about the price, too)..

they arent as it was the same company.

anything (games, cds, dvds) that was released before EUK (AKA woolworths) went under will have been in stock & therefore reduce to £2, £4 or £6

since this happened the plans for stores have been changed to include atleast a top 8 blurays. therefore only store that did stock blurays before euk went will have been selling them for £4, all other stores wot have stock.

Just went to my local Morrisons (Norwich) and practically got laughed at by the guy behind the counter in the entertainment section. According to him there is no such promotion going on and the blu-rays mentioned earlier are at their full prices. He did say that even if such a deal did exist they would not be behind the counter but fully on display.

Probably fake, not nationwide at the very least or in the words of the Morrisons guy "utter boll**ks"
#28
Not on offer in the Morrisons stores in Cheshire. The girls on Home and Leisure didn't even have the DVDs on sale - I'm quite confident this is applies to a handful of stores around the country.

well as i've said many times on here, this is a real offer but only depends on what stock was left over instore from EUK going under last october. it started on 6th july when all ex-euk stock was £2 for CDs, £4 for dvds/blurays & £6 for games. its 2 weeks into the offer now & as euk dosent exist then there is no more new stock so most will have sold by now
#31
Well Wimbledon had barely any blu rays at all, never mind ones for £4. I'm not convinced this 'offer' exists.

such a "real" offer that even the guy who works in morrisons hadn't heard of it and no one has any proof of actually getting it? a simple scan of a receipt would do that..

he wont of heard of the offer of wall-e bluray for £4, but he will have known about ALL euk stock to be reduced, it just depended on what each store has.

scan of a receipt want say anything except dvd 1234 £4 as all euk stock was made to scann at £4 by having the same barcode stuck over the original. a photo of priced wall-e & the rear with this barcode will prove it, or you could just trust someone!

I managed to pick up Hulk and mamma Mia from my local store in sutton, Surrey and unfortnatly they don't have any other tiltle or no more £4 Blu-Ray DVD offers. Thanks for the heads up.
