I saw a thread somewhere that implied some DKNY stuff is manufactured for Sports Direct/USC etc.

DKNY Menswear brand is owned by Sports Direct.
I wonder how many people who have taken up this deal would have done so if it was SD that was selling these - which they do often cheaply through one of their other names Flannels.
To be fair these are average prices for this brand now.

Don't see DKNY on the Sports Direct "brands we own" pages, unless people know something I don't :phttp://www.sportsdirectplc.com/our-brands/fashion-and-lifestyle.aspxhttp://www.sportsdirectplc.com/our-brands/sports-and-leisure.aspx
That's because they don't.
They have the licence to produce the goods. It is still owned by LVMH - the Louis Vuitton house of brands.
Basically SD make and design the goods, slap DKNY on it, gets the OK from LVMH and SD sell it how they want.

Sorry - my original message just gave to info - without going into detail. Yeah LVMH own the brand and SD have licence to put the brand name in goods they sell. They have lots of "Well Known" labels in their grasp - most of what they sell where you recognise the name is like this. Firetap, Pierre Cardin are another two.
You can get DKNY branded stuff from Flannels website (part of SD) at humongous discount. Reason being - no in in their right mind would pay £400 for a Sports Direct branded coat - but swap the label to DKNY and offer it at "Discount" of £40 and see them fly out the warehouse. They have regular sales, in between the odd day at higher prices just to stay above the law of how they can advertise it's a sale.

From comment #43 on this thread and onwards http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/dkny-polo-shirts-13-50-dkny-t-shirts-8-50-free-click-collect-using-code-moss-bros-2479481?p=28402197

Not dissing the deal, merely commenting to inform others.

These one's aren't sold by sports direct or USC though - they have good feedback by the seller on eBay and as you can only pay by paypal if you have any dispute with the authenticity you will get your money back.

There is a "DKNY Bright Future" (same name as on ebay) pjs set on USC at the moment. http://www.usc.co.uk/dkny-bright-future-pyjama-set-425292?colcode=42529275

No idea where the stock is from, but just letting others know to be careful when purchasing DKNY.

I messaged seller on ebay and here is the reply....
lingerieoutletstore Top Rated Seller(142,515RedShooting Star)
Hello,

Yes these products are genuine DKNY brought directly from the manufacturers.

Kind Regards,

USC are selling the same product range (Bright Future) and of course an ebay seller isn't going to say anything that affects their sales or their reputation as a seller!

Don't get me wrong, I am as surprised as anyone (about Sports Direct and DKNY) as I bought the polo shirts from the aforementioned HUKD DKNY thread.

"Bought directly from manufacturers" is a bit vague and likely something Sports Direct themselves would say.
