Does it feature surge protection?.....how long is the cable?....is it available in different colours?
C'mon now Stephen..it's all in the details!!!

- 1 metre cable length
- only in white

It is poundland after all.

Do yourself a favour and buy the Belkin surge protected ones from Ebuyer. No point skimping where electricity is involved...
#6
Just to clarify, I have voted cold due to the lack of functionality & options that this product supplies.
If you wish to appeal this decision please e-mail the link to this page to 5 friends, all of whom must likewise forward it to 5 friends & once you have confirmed that 20,000 people have read this page please PM me & I will consider my possibly harsh, knee-jerk reaction.

PS - Many thanks to all those that took the time to provide the details that Stephen didn't....special mention goes to shimagoza & Shengis for taking the time to help!

Depends what you want it for. Good for the kitchen where surges aren't that much of a problem......

I assume you actually look like the picture. What an uncalled for comment. The picture clearly shows a basic short 4 socket lead. Look at the picture! You must be joking to expect surge protection at this price!

Thie product is very handy to use in a small office environment for monitor, printer, scanner etc where surges not a problem. Also for kitchen use as mentioned above, and I use mine for Xmas decorations etc.

Think before being so rude next time:x

Actually.... Basic surge protection costs pennies, all it takes is a capacitor wired across the live/neutral lines;-)

Did you read the equally sarcastic follow-up post or should I
wait for an equally humourless response to that one too?

We already have numerous hand signals that we use to make ourselves clearly understood & she only really 'cocks a deafun' when she can't be bothered with my nonsense!!!
Many thanks for your offer though Jelli....

I would second that, but my query is, who would send out there OH to look for "Huge Tubs" in Woolworths?

Jelli89 on the lookout for pick n mix bargains maybe?!!?!!

Now if this had been Currychop's he'd have made some comment about sending her out with the cash to get some big j#ggs & never getting the change!!! (Just as well I'm so refined)
#24
Interesting Fact: Woolworths are reverting to bags for there Pick'Mix (And increasing the price per gram) Obviously losing out to the likes of Jelli89, who has been known to cram in Soooo many cola bottles that they have suffered a massive loss! I personally would never condone this behaviour. :whistling:

I'll have you know this is an artform! - may be shooting myself in the foot here, but the secret is increasing the surface area of the receptacle. In these places where they give you a dish/plate/bowlful, you should 'fan' out what you are putting on initially - so extending the perimeter...works a treat with the piddly little bowls they give you for salad in Pizza hut!:whistling: :whistling:

Back on topic, I've bought these in the past and changed the cable for a longer one, easy enough to do. :-D

And in just about any 99p/£1 shop I've ever been in......
PS - Steve, don't use liquorice bootlaces to 'lengthen the cable', it's all well & good until your mouth starts watering......

Its an unfortunate fact that sarcasm and expression do not translate to e mail or text messages. I suggest that in future you keep your sarcasm to yourself and stick to helpful and constructive contributions. The alternatve may be to attend your local nursery where there are other children to play with :p
