Being from the UKs number one rechargable battery brand it will be hard to doubt the quality of these batteries.
Hybrid means that they keep their charge similar to Alkalines and so are good for both low use and high use.

In high drain cameras (when flash is used) these will outlast Alkaline 6 or so times.

Like Alkalines these are ready charged but can be recharged 500 times.

£3.15 for 4 AAA. I've not bought the AA but price is probably £4.86.(edit a Previous posting a week or so ago said £4.86. However it now seems also to be £3.15 for 4 AA)
In my local store(Fareham) these are all unpriced(and just round the corner from other batteries). Possibly because the manager does not want to impact on the Alkaline cashcow.

Uniross are one of the better suppliers when it comes to ratings. (as are Sanyo)
(edit) These are rated at 800mah. The AA are 2100mah.
(edit) Seem to be available in-store only
(EDIT) It seems to be end of line!!! Wont be everywhere. ASDA may well be too scared to sell them continuously!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If unpriced at your branch they will certainly be at a great price but double check at the till.

What power rating are they ???, i.e: 2100mAh, are they NI-MH

Good pirce for rechargeables

To clarify, Normal Ni-Mh rechargeables lose about 1% of their charge every day when not in use, These Hybrid batteries don't lose their charge anything like as quickly so are better if you want to charge them up and have them ready to go anytime.

Bought both the AA and AAA last week for £3.15 in South Woodham Ferrers, Essex. Great deal.

Got mine last week, £3.15 AA, again not priced!!

Thanks for this, didn't know about this 'new fangled technology'. Have to charge my ni-mh before using in digi camera as they do lose it in storage / non use time, so a great improvement :thumbsup:

No, because as the OP says, it's in-store only.

someone posted this a week or two ago.
had a look in my local store at the weekend but they didn't seem to have any hybrio's at all
what aisle did you find them in if they weren't with the other batteries?
#11
Saw this offer last week, but it's not happening in my local ASDA in Omagh:x
#13

As far as I know, yes!
#17
There the same technology as Eneloops - Panasonic also do there own version but they are more difficult to find. Hot.
#18
Very good value - normally £7-10 for AAs retail. Unlike many NiMH batteries offered at cheap prices these really do deliver what they claim on my measurements.

Yep:thumbsup:

After using countless rechargable batteries over the years, these are the best of the lot. Bought 4 AA's a fortnight ago for £7.99!!
#21
Does anyone know if they're still 1.2v like traditional NiMH's?
#22
Yes, treat them as standard NiMHs.The only difference is the low self-discharge rate.

Just picked my car up from the garage and popped into the Asda nearby (Llansamlet) and got a set of each for £3.15; very pleased. They weren't on the shelf but the assistant I asked knew they were end of line and got them from a stock room.

Damn - maybe I should have asked another assistant

None out at my local - either with the batteries or in the photo shop
I asked at customer services and she just said where the batteries are but knew no more

#26
i bought the last 4 packs at Dartford. Mine is ASDA living

Bought some from Asda in Barrow in Furness, still plenty left all at £3.15.
First I looked near the cameras and rechargeable batteries, then I asked (to no avail!), then I found them with the normal batteries on the end of an aisle near the checkouts. The staff hadn't a clue!
#28
Meant to post before but there were plenty of AA & AAA in Asda Newtownards last Wednesday night.
#29
Picked up 2 packs of AAA for £3 each although there were marked up at £3.37p each.
