Your Experience

Liverpool is famed for many things, but mostly for its musical residents. Stay in the city and discover one of the greatest bands on earth at The Beatles Story.

Arriving in Liverpool you will check in to Mercure Liverpool Atlantic Tower Hotel, a stylish 4* hotel just minutes’ walk from Moorfields and James Street train stations, across from Princes Dock. Your charming accommodation has air conditioning, parking, a restaurant, an airport shuttle and wi-fi. And included with your stay is a delicious, hearty breakfast.

Once you’re checked-in, you’re ready to enjoy your fabulous experience with entry to The Beatles Story, situated in the famous Albert Dock. This location is also known for being a social hub of excitement and is close to the shopping delights of Liverpool One, the Museum of Liverpool and the starting point of the well-loved Magical Mystery Tour.

The Beatles Story is one of the city’s most popular attractions. Naming itself as a “magical history tour”, this experience details the many milestones of music’s best band. Be whisked through the childhood years, the early days, the highest peaks of fame and the solo work of John, Paul, George and Ringo. This is proudly called the world’s biggest permanent exhibition dedicated to The Beatles and is bound to delight any fan. We love it, yeah yeah yeah!

Great city to visit, and that's from a Mancunian.

The Beatles were from Liverpool?
Wow! They should highlight it more, the city council are missing a trick there.

The Beatles Story is £16 per person, so unless you particularly expect to use the £20 OMG voucher, you can probably have your pick of similar hotels for the same price.

Couldn't pay me £138 to stay in Liverpool.

I thought the Beatles did all their great work outside Liverpool?

It's a decent city nowadays Liverpool. Makes for a good day out. It was pretty grim 20 years ago, but is thoroughly modern nowadays. Scousers love to have a chat and a joke; kinda like the opposite of those who live in our capital.

A great city to visit, with so much to see and do if you are there for a short break. The museums are top notch and the history of the place is very interesting, there is so much more there than just the Beatles theme (which they admittedly make the most of these days). Don't be put off by by a 70's and 80's stereotype which is long gone!

Not hot to me. We quite literally did the exact tour 2 days ago and stayed for 2 nights. Paid £140 for two nights in a 4* apartment in the centre, £20 on the beatles tickets. So for £160 you get an entire extra night. Therefore, this seems kinda expensive just for one night!

43 years a scouser here, shock horror moderately successful business owner

I do a lot of work in South Liverpool (for a lot of people from down south who came here to study and ended up staying cos they love it here)

One thing they always say to me is there is nothing where they came from and Liverpool has everything

Sure like every major city it has its faults but 99% of it is great

To the comments above I actually feel a bit sorry for them, how dim of you to say such a thing you really need to broaden your horizons and actually visit somewhere before you speak
