This deal is based on 2 adults flying out to Zadar from Bristol on Tuesday 28th March returning Saturday 1st April.

If you're looking for a last minute get away or need to use your last few leave days before April this trip is ideal!

There are similar flights from Manchester and London however they are a little more expensive.

Zadar is one of my favourite places in Europe, it's very quiet and not overrun by tourists. There are plenty of islands to visit off the mainland and it has beautiful beaches and plenty of excursions, and best of all, the sun!

You will be staying for 4 nights in Bibinje which is just outside the city of Zadar. There are a few beaches around the area and it is cheaper to grab a 5 minute taxi into Zadar than it is for two people to get the bus!

There are lots of beautiful sites around Zadar apart from the centre itself and if you fancy hiring a car you can drive up to Plitvice Lakes for the day which I highly recommend! There are plenty of beautiful beaches around too and many are easily accessible by bus.

I've chosen the 3* Apartments Mira as I've stayed here myself and I know how much of a wonderful host Mira is and how nice the apartment are. Beautiful view from all the rooms and in a nice quiet location. It had lots of excellent reviews on both TripAdvisor and Booking.com

Don't forget in major European cities there is city tax to pay, they will usually take this upon arrival or departure.

You can book car hire for as little as £20 for the 4 days however landing late you could incur a late fee charge as we did when we landed and it was around €30 which is more than the car hire itself, make sure you read the terms and conditions!

This deal only includes hand luggage which on Ryanair is a 10kg trolley hand baggage and a small personal item. This should be sufficient for your few days here.

Price breakdown

Flights booked with Ryanair - £39.96

Apartment booked through Booking.com - £84

Total price for 2 people - £123.96

Total price each - £61.98

Thanks for posting. As the price is based on two people the total cost is £123.96. I've edited the price to reflect this.

It depends. Tourist areas similar or sometimes more expensive than in here. Going to nontourist places you can find it cheaper than ib uk. Not massively cheap though.

I just come back from Zagreb and it was amazing and eating out was cheap transport was cheap too with the trams and their is so much to do we went for 4 days and wasn't really long enough going again in December simply fell in love with the place.

We are going to Croatia in two weeks, this price is amazing though! I have heard some amazing things so hoping its as beautiful as ive been told. I have found that Asda exchange rate is the best for Kuna so far. If anyone knows any different then please let me know :)

Oh this looks amazing, is this Krka National Park? We are taking our children with us and have been looking at days out. We did look on YouTube and the hotel we are staying at has boat trips and several people have posted videos of Dolphins being there and Basking Sharks which look amazing! Hopefully we will be lucky enough to see Dolphins and hoping the weather is a little more decent than what we are having here :)

Try Revolut app - they have best exchange rate + free Master Card for use abroad (all EU currencies) . If you need cash in hand best offer is Currency Fair.

Oh thank you, I will have a look online. It looks absolutely beautiful. Could I ask (sorry being cheeky-have never been to Croatia before). Is it best to take Croatian Kuna? We have to pay the hotel tax upon arrival and that's in Euro? Could you recommend any other day trips suitable for children? We want to go to the waterpark aswell as that looks pretty amazing. Thank you, I appreciate any help :)

Sorry I should of put that :) We are flying into Zadar airport and have booked transfers. We are staying at Pierre & Vances Luka in Biograd na Moru so we are pretty isolated. We booked it because the hotel looks amazing and knew it was going to be taxis or bus rides or nice long walks :) Thank you, any help is greatly appreciated.

Places worth to visit: (google each of them for images)
0. Zadar old town
1. Plitvice lakes
2. Skradin - Krka
3. Kornati
4. Split Dioklecian palace
5. Novalja Pag - better then Ibiza if you like clubing
6. Vransko jezero - a huge lake only about a mile from sea

They are not in priority order. Google each of them as images so you can decide what to see.

I live in UK but originally from Zadar. There is a lot more of other places where no tourist has even enter like 'Slap Krke Knin' but guess there is no enough days to see it all.

Thanks guys so much! I really appreciate it. Tbh we didn't really look into any day trips when we booked the hol as we thought we would just have a lazy week away but seeing all the beautiful videos and pictures everywhere, we don't want to miss out on seeing such a beautiful country.

We don't mind getting a taxi or a nice bus trip out a couple of times but everything looks quite a distance. (we don't mind though, we live rural now).

Oh wow, thank you. I think Zadar Old town is definitely on the list, it looks beautiful. I'm going to have a busy night now deciding on what we are going to be doing. We got some really good transfer prices with our Taxi so will use them for most trips, didn't want to drive as I wanted to be lazy and capture the beauty of everything

Thanks for much guys. Amazing help from you all! :)

Why is this? We didn't want to go when it would be the busiest and also the hottest. Everything is still open etc?

Unless you are the ultimate sunworshipper and its a very dry heat and love queuing up for everything i would suggest not going from june to august but each to their own
