Cheers mate, have some rep

Voted cold as I bought them from the same seller for £4.99 2 weeks ago.

To avoid any confusion, AFAIK these are not hybrids, they are just high power normal NiMH.

Durcell mark their hybrids as "Pre charged"

Some bad reviews creeping onto Amazon site now.
Not as good as they used to be?

I got these bad boys, they are ok, i use them in a canon powershot digital camera. theya re good for around 100 photos, but after 50 or so the flash takes a while to build up

Cheers might have a look at these later, ideal for the 360 :-)

£4.69 from Amazon - good deal
#12
Cheers, hopefully RM will deliver these before Friday :S
#13
Good deal, Hot
#14
So...can you just use any old AA battery charger with these?
#15
Cracking deal from Amazon, just picked some up for the kids 360 controllers for Xmas.
#16
Cheers OP, ordered 2 packs as the kids keep going through the ones I already use in the Wii Remotes.

I used to work in the photographic industry. You do not want to ever put a duracell battery into a camera or any electronic equipment any more technical than a remote control or torch. Anything Japanese instead will do fine. Never Duracell.

Could you recommend something instead? I'm specifically after some that will last a long time in a camera for a decent price.

Sanyo, Varta, and personally, despite I'm not a fan of their business practices, Sony.

I read some daft things on here but that one takes the biscuit! For one thing, I bet they were talking about Duracell alkalines, not rechargeables, and these are "just another" NiMH rechargeable battery. What's different about them?

DURACELL. Any and all. But by all means shove them in whatever you want and don't take any notice of a professional opinion.

My professional opinion from a scientific rather than brand-prejudice point of view is that (although I don't like the over-hyped Duracells) I can see no possible reason why one brand of battery would be unsuitable in such applications.

My last purchase from Amazon came by HDN last week, not Royal Mail.
It was a hard drive, but I heard Amazon stopped using Royal Mail.
If your batteries are sent by RM you want them delivered by Wednesday, as the 2 day strike starts Thursday.
If they're caught in the backlog, goodness only knows when they will arrive!

It's not that hard to figure out for someone scientifically minded. ;-)

Don't be ridiculous.

Without something to back up your claims, they're absolutely worthless ! Duracell are no worse than any other brand of battery.
