I found these on sale in my local Poundland store in Gateshead.
Only 25 pence per disc.

I don't know what the quality of these is like but I was tempted to buy a pack.
I'm happy that if there's anything wrong wiith them I've never had any trouble exchanging or returning stuff at Poundland.

Anyone know of any better without buying in bulk?
Please everyone don't vote cold based on comparing with bulk prices.

Here's the information from the pack:-

4 High Speed DVD+R RW 16x 120min / 4.7GB Signalex

NOTE: Post amended following feedback advice - references to 'rewritable' removed.

voted cold as you can buy 100 TDK disks on play.com for £19.99 delivered works out just over 19p each and you get named disks for that sorry dude

Sounds great for all those bulk buyers out there. Are these TDK discs rewritable?

Good price for DVD-RW in the High Street. Best way to test is to buy one pack and see if they work with your writer. If they do stock up. (DVD-Writer can produce coasters with any incompatible brand known or unknown inclusive TDK, therefore it's best to find your brand and stick with it)

i find it extremely unlikely for me to need mode than 1 or 2 RE-writeble disks?

i doubt it is an RW though, especially 16X

They are NOT rewriteable.

It has the RW logo on, but that means nothing, except the discs are part of the +R(W) alliance.

Also you cannot get 16x RW media

Yeah, they ain't rewritable.

Only thing that saves this for me is the handy little spindle you seem to get with it.

It is ok for the high street tho.

Last time I bought disks from Poundland, they were scratched. No really bad scratches, but lots of little ones. Dunno what these are like.

If these are NOT Re-Writable the title should be corrected to save people buying in error :whistling:

i use these discs a lot and they work fine. i bought a pack and they worked well so i stocked up. i have now purchased 100 dvd-rs (though +rs are available) from play.com, tdk branded. these are still a good deal for someone who only wants a couple of discs though

Pah, I can beat you all with how much you paid for your DVD+R's, last year I managed to pickup 100 (4x25 Spindles) for £4 (99p a spindle) from Superdrug. Awesome! That makes them 4p a disk hehe.

Oh yeh, forgot to say they were Samsung Pleomax's.
