Well it is, and I wouldn't have the Heinz for free, as they are full of vinegar; but for most people who are not brand loyal, especially when it is the advertising that is the reason for the high pricing - that's quite a premium price Heinz charge!

Not voted, btw.

instead of voting cold tell me where cheaper? That's what this site is about!! saving money!!??

branson aint heinz so why bother saying it? thats like saying theres a merc for 10k then a fiesta somwhere else for 5k.
#12
I prefer heinz, good deal.

But let me tell you a little storry about baked beans:
Once after a long day of playing on the computer I got hungry and decided I was going to have an omlette with beans on toast. But I got lazy and I skipped over the omlette. And because I had to go back to playing really quick I ate a slice of bread with cold beans straight from the tin. Yum. :whistling:
It happens to me all the time

It's not a post about BRANSTONS!!!!
#14
It's an ok deal, but you should be able to find 4 cans for £1 nowadays

As I said earlier, I have not voted for the reason it isn't a valid reason to vote cold, just because I don't like them, but it's probably because others see it the way I see it and are voting that way... if you have tried Branston, and don't prefer them, there is only one question - WHY?

The car anology was given earlier - and it really is as surprising to most of us as someone buying a Fiesta instead of a Merc when the Merc is about 50% CHEAPER!

It's that much of a no brainer!
Hey, there is no accounting for taste! :?

Perhaps you should create your own deal when you find some Heinz ones at that price!

Because they taste different

Yeah, Mr T, Somerfield et al are ripping you off.
If Bargain Booze can sell them for 79p for 4 and Morrisons for 75p for 4, why are they so expensive elsewhere?

Anyway, back on topic, anyone know where they can buy HEINZ beans cheaper?

Regardless of what they taste like, Heinz do spend a LOT on advertising, and always have done!

Ask yourself who pays for intensive advertising on ANY product!

Tin for tin, the Branston beans are cheaper than Tesco Value beans. What does that tell you?

So I take it no one knows where HEINZ beans are available cheaper (save for agnostic who has found a shop in NI where they are sold for a penny cheaper - Lidl do not have any stores in NI, afaik)
Suppose that's a good enough reason to vote HOT then!

Is this deal still going?

I expect so, it was only posted 5 days ago.

Sainsburys are offering the same deal too now

All baked beans are the same.

All baked beans are the same.

The heated debate that always ensues on any baked bean deal posted, including this one, suggests otherwise.

The " beans " are the same, the sauce may well be different, a bean is a bean.;-)
#31
A baked bean is not a baked bean unless it has been stewed in the sauce.

Also, there are may varieties of haricot bean used to make baked beans.
#32
Wash the sauce off of any two brands of baked beans and I defy anybody to tell the difference between brand A and brand B.
