may be very cheap but it's still the same as coloured water... gimme blue top every time :)

Ye I tried this stuff and agree its watery, I think I'll stick to blue top full fat :)

Still cheaper to buy 1 pint of 4% fat.

Having said that, I'm on the 0.1% red label :(

This is probably 2 litre not 4 pint....still a great price

Tastes much more like semi skimmed than skimmed. Hot!

I went Today to my local Morrisions and they did not have any 4 pint purple top bottles, but did have a few 2 pint purple top bottles. On the shelf they were marked as 86p, but a price check with an assistant revealed them priced at 30p. Not as good as the 4 pints for 50p, but good enough for me.

Tesco reduced thiers to 50p. so morrisons price matched!!!!

HEHE bought this today without realising just checked my receipt and it was 50p, this is no way as watery as skimmed just the same as semi to me great price.

there just seems something wrong with the 'purple top'

-aren't all pasteurised milk bottles, reduced in fat from original due to the pasteurisation process??
The other day had fresh milk, cooled after boiling and I could definetely tell the difference to the blue-tops we buy (was a bit like the old gold-top milk pints, if anyone remembers them)

This milk comes in 4 pints not litres, Also if you purchase 2 of the milks they give you back 6p making the milk 47p for 4 pints, not seen milk this cheap for a long time.

Hot stuff! bought a couple extra and froze 'em. cheers OP :)

This is still current. I bought some this morning. Lower fat than semi-skimmed but still nice to drink - unlike skimmed which is OK on cereal etc but not nice to drink on it's own.

Asked in Morrisons today and there is no expiry date on this milk deal, fella said "its just on going, no end date at the mo"

So got 3 more, lovely milk compared to straight skimmed! :D
