£0.50 asda for 2 litres £0.75 for 4 pints at sainsburys. any other time this would be a good deal but not at the moment
#2
2litre for 50p at asda so about 7 pints for £1
#3
its also £1 at my local corner shop - but I suspect they have been milking the local moggies

50p!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! are they mad???
#4
this is hot from me as £1 for 4% fat of 4 pints milk as supermarket selling this milk at £1.53
#5
after some painstaking research I think the 50p and 75p ones are for 1% watered down versions of ""milk"" only - not the proper stuff :p

This is the fat and super fat versions

65p for 2 litres of St. Ivel semi skimmed in Morrisons at the moment too.
#9
For some reason our corner shops milk has been 79p for 4 litres (semi and full fat) so not all are a ripoff.
Not sure if non-franchised corner shops in Gateshead are allowed to br recommended on HUKD but a good price ;-)

Didnt know you could buy 4 Litre cartons/ bottles of milk??
#11
I haven't met a person yet who can tell the difference between 1% milk and semi-skimmed. It is not obviously thinner than semi unlike skimmed which is just like water!

All varieties being included makes this a good offer (especially if you have young children who should drink the full fat stuff).

Just hope that after this 'price war', milk prices settle down to a cheaper price than before all this (less than £1 for 2L would be good)
but luvin the deals!
#13
buy organic u can get a litre for 75p from tesco better for u and the cows

2litre for 50p at asda so about 7 pints for £1

Only if you want to drink 75% water with your milk - the ASDA milk is rubbish 1% stuff.

Meanwhile, the milk farmers get screwed. Very poor state of affairs.
