How can that be? It's £2.25 for 6 pints, I've got the receipt here .... and daylight robbery it is too.

£1.09 for 2 litres, or £1.53 (2 for £3) for 4 pints (2.272 litres)

so 44p/litre in Iceland

54.5p - 66p /litre in Tesco depending how you buy it

So Iceland is around 20% cheaper

it's been on for more than half a year...but now I moved into an area without Iceland :-(
#12

Not years , a few months . The price crept back up at Iceland until a few months ago..... back to a quid as maybe competition from Sainsburys offer of a quid for Orange Top a permanent offer

Voting cold as it's been this price for absolutely bloody ages.

Twice I've gone to Iceland to get 4 pints as its on my route home sometimes and neither time they had any although it was late in the day. At least poundland always has milk in stock even if it is only 2litres.

True, but compared to elsewhere it seems to be cheapest around so that means its a hot deal in my book

Poundland has no Kingsmill though!:-D

If you have a Lidl near you, I recommend you get four pints from there instead. It is 9p more expensive at £1.09, however milk from Lidl bears the Red Tractor mark which guarantees certain quality standards.

We all want quality food that’s affordable and safe to eat. The Red Tractor is an independent mark of quality that guarantees the food we’re buying comes from farms and food companies that meet high standards of food safety and hygiene, animal welfare and environmental protection.

Iceland milk does not bear this mark.

also is available at farm foods at this price :D

Farmfoods is 2litres not 4pints I'm afraid.

Just think what milk is for-baby cows to grow fast-not baby humans who grow slow. It is a poison!

#29

#31

#32

farmstore is the same price been that price are ages:)
#36
To repeat, farmfoods is 2litres, no red tractor.

Iceland is £1 for 4 pints, again no red tractor

Lidl is 4pints has red tractor and is £1.09

I'd pay the 9p to be honest. If hygeine standards are poor in the other places, are we to assume rats and cockroaches are crawling around the hay and the animals are riddled with disease?

OK so this was put on here month's ago, but some of us didn't know about this site then and I've only just started using it. For all those people who have been buying it there for all that time good for you but many people didn't know about it and I'm sure they'll now be glad to save a few pennies, as am I. a little reminder every few months about this kind of thing can't be such a bad thing...can it?
