Rep for the pic

If you don't like the thought of cute little pigs growing up just to be eaten then don't buy pork chops, sausages, ribs, bacon, etc etc.

But don't pretend it doesn't happen. That slab of meat on your plate was a living animal once. Get real people!

And if you actually give a damn about whether that pig had a reasonable life before it was slaughtered you might want to consider buying your pork from a reputable source rather than getting the cheapest meat at the supermarket.

Very few people would eat meat after seeing the animal be killed, chopped up and packed!
Wouldn't it have been easier to just link to the photo tesco use of the pack on their site so then people know what the pack looks like, so will find it easier!

Instead of "Oh lets put a photo of a pig because thats a funny idea"

Well if people won’t eat it because someone reminds them of the truth that pork chops are made by killing and cutting up pigs then that is just ridiculous!

You can’t just pretend no animal dies for food production simply to make you feel better!

Personally I don’t have any issue with eating meat as long as the animal is humanely treated. If more people considered the reality of meat production then maybe they would spend a bit more on higher welfare standard food rather than look for the cheapest, most inhumanely produced, meat.
