Until the this sale is live, and you're on PS4 and can't be bothered typing: just head on over to Games > Digital Only Games (and then click X on the icon for PS2 games).

These are some good games too! I know I'll be picking up at least 1.

This is about the time of night they start changing prices for Wednesday's sales. Good spot.

Not sure why it's getting voted cold. If you don't like the product it doesn't mean it's not a good deal. Probably gonna pick up KOF and possibly Primal

I've actually already bought all these when they got released again on the store. Fahrenheit, Siren and Primal all play brilliantly well on modern systems. Might be my age, but they have all stood the test of time well for me. Primal though, you'll need to invert the controls or it'll do your head in. Simple option in the menu.

cheaper in the long run to buy a ps2 and head on down to your local car boot sale. Games are about 10p.

Fahrenheit is excellent

Cheaper yes, but these play better and look better, plus less clutter than having a PS2 wired upto your TV.

Heat op.

Can you buy a PS2 and these games for less than the total digital price of these titles then?

Is Fahrenheit just a ps2 port or is it a remaster ? Been wanting to play it for a while.

I didn't realise digital ps2 games existed for the PS4. Purchased a PS2 and Fahrenheit just last week - I love that game! I have shadow of the colossus coming too - looking forward to playing that for the first time

Just a port, but I think it's more of the PC version than the PS2 version. I bought it at launch to replay it and it's held up well.

Have these been remastered? Bought lucifers call for ps3 before which was not.
#13
Ps1 and ps2 games just ports, no enhancements or extras
#14
Not buying any of these ps2 games because Sony were too greedy not allowing cross buy so i'll just wait until they are free on ps plus.

These aren't strictly remastered, but they are enhanced and the graphics are very much improved and made relevant to the PS4 (rather than just being outright emulated). This has to be done on a title-by-title basis so it's cost them to do it. Sony have also gone through and added trophy support to their PS2 titles. Bottom line is no, you're not just buying the PS2 game as it first appeared.

This is incorrect. The listing for Fahrenheit alone has 720p and 1080p modes, which the PS2 versions weren't. See my above post.

a quick scan of eBay shows its possible. It's madness buying PS2 games for the PS4. This is why Sony don't do cross compatibility, they can keep making money so it seems.

Maybe my wording was not clear , ps1 classics and ps2 classics are just straight ports, nothing more

Fahrenheit was not released as a ps2 classic, it is a remastered game released as such, it's not going to be in the ps2 classics section

If Fahrenheit was sub £5, I'd bite.

Trust me don't. I watched the game on YouTube and other than the really great first few hours it goes completely bonkers. It could have been a great murder mystery game but it gets awful after those first few hours. Like really awful.
