banned#3
and the MATRIX box set on hd dvd for £17.99 in stock in 2-3 days and don't forget 4% quidco(dvd.co.uk comes under base in quidco)
#4
umds aren't quite as dead as hddvd. yaay!

Voted cold, UMDs are a waste of money.

You could buy 4 DVDs with £15 and you would have a larger selection. You could also play them anywhere and they're more future proof than UMDs. Just buy some DVDs and buy a large memory stick for your PSP.

although you'd need to factor in the cost of the memory stick and the fact that a converted video file won't be as good quality as a umd....

good for travelling though hey? :) before anyone else kills this post.
#8
Excellent price for a wide selection, rubbish format or not, thats not the point. Hot deal!

yup. i much prefer to take my tv and dvd player on the bus, what idiot would ever buy a umd
#12
ok, ok so ppl can download movies or copy them and put them onto the psp, but that's not the point, for anyone legit who likes umds, good to travel with, this is hot!

can you play a dvd in a toaster?
#15
you can watch on a tv if you have a slim and lite - and i think these are great, ive never been one to mess with firmware - with a psp its legit games and films.

i was hoping uwish would do their 5 for £20 deal again as i wont pay more than £4 per UMD, but this is a it better at £15 for 4. plus quidco of course.
#16
oh btw not all the umds above are in the offer - infact only a few are. no 300, no simpsons, at least not according to base. of course once added to the basket they might. but most of the good stuff isnt on the sale page.

It might be worth pointing psp owners in the direction of http://www.goview.tv which is sony's version of itunes store by the looks of things with subs and rentals. Months free trial according to the ad on the left!
#18
trade them afterwards and it will be the cheapest option on the market to watch a movie on the road, hot from me

My converted videos from my DVDs are just as good as UMD, so you don't know what your talking about.

A memory stick only costs £24.99 and it's near enough a necessity with a PSP anyway. Not only could you store movies, game saves and pictures on it but some games can use custom soundtracks.

Well. it is the point because if it's a rubbish format and it's still not any cheaper than most DVDs.

And just for everyone's information I'm not hacking my PSP, you don't have to hack it to play movie files from your DVDs.

is the OP not going to change his list? he really should of double checked, as under half those listed are actually in the deal. he has just listed all base sell basically.
