The cheapest flights are from Ryan Air - Gatwick (hand luggage for 3 days should be enough). Accommodation varies but i think this is a good choice - good price and location in central Rome. You can get a train from the airport to central Rome - takes about 30 mins. You could of course choose a different location - there is plenty of choice of quality accommodation.

I think that was one of the 'terrible' reviews - have a look through the others as well - there are other hotels for about this price if you don't fancy it - but on the whole this hotel is very well reviewed :)

Sigh.... ryanair is charging £20 for admnistration fees!

Just ordered the prepaid mastercard, hope this deal will still be around when my card arrived!

Would rather walk than line the pockets of Michael O'Leary's licensed bandits.

There is no way I could ever travel with RYANCRAP again - I would rather just pay a bit more and be treated like a human being.

AMEN to that!

Flights also available from Stansted at the same price and a choice of times as well. The Admin Fee can be avoided if you pick up a prepaid Mastercard. I travel with Ryanair a couple of times a year and have never had a problem with them as long as you know the ropes.
