4 way socket @Poundland £1.00

Poundland's 4-way (or 4-gang) electrical socket extension lead enables you to plug in four different electrical items from just one plug socket. It's high quality, safe and durable too, and complies with all the relevant British Standards, including BS 1363 for plug sockets

Quite cheap imo

At Poundland in Meadowhall last week they also had 4 way sockets that plug directly into the socket with no trailing lead - they're about £6 in Tesco. Like this one...

(didn't expect that picture to be quite so big!!)

Lol that's cool :) so people prefer the other to that , but I dont mind either :)

Flying sparks with my 4-way lead from Poundland. But if you leave it stationary and dont plugin/out all the time, it's OK.
#4
Oh , sorry to hear that :(

Bought the other day good deal :D

isnt the lead to these 0.25m?

Bought 3 the other week, they work which is the main thing & at that price they are half of anywhere else. O.K. they are not as robust as U.K. made products, It is a shame that the U.K. can't match Hong Kong or Chinese prices. However I do prefer meat as compared to rice & an 18 hour day.

Of course the UK factories aren't going to be able to match this price. We (just about) pay above slave labour and for now our standards are higher. However the longer we get threatened with these cheap imports the more chance we have of our factories lowering their safety standards just to compete.

Yes.

Investment is the key, automated production brings goods down to this type of price.

They are selling a trailing lead one also -v. short lead, 0.25m sounds right.
#14
I prefer the one without a lead. But be careful when using it with a double socket as it can block access to the second socket - depending upon the plug being used.

BTW ASDA sell a similar design for £5 - but their one has individually switched 3-pin sockets (3) and two USB sockets.

I thought the two listed here were regular things found everyday so I didn't list em.

Bought like 5 though!

they are found everyday , your right , I posted em just so people could buy them cheaper if needed .

Swich off at the socket first, then pull the plug out, then you will not see flying sparks.
