I bought this last year when it was cheap from Argos (can't remember the price). Tried to take it to Greece, flying with Thomas Cook (or Thompson - not sure), and they didn't accept it as hand luggage. Major bummer once I found this out at the airport! So check specificially with your airline in advance as they can vary.

Got this from Argos last year - it was less than £20 IIRC.

Fine on Ryanair.

This one is 4 wheels smaller about 0.6 cm than similar one from Asda direct.Asda direct selling different two wheels suitcase. Can you see the difference. Just compare the pictures.

Its actually just over the 55cm Ryan Air dimensions including the handle, only by a very small amount. Just depends on how fussy the staff when boarding really want to be... one reviewer on Argos stated

"The bag itself is very good but when one is due to fly a certain Irish airline, then problems arise. The handle of the bag exceeds the overall required dimension by 3cm.
This airline wish to charge an additional £50.00 for this extra 3cm. regardless of what the bag may contain. Maybe medical needs, but it doesn't matter. It's £50.00. Be warned."

Just 0.4cm over 55cm (including the handle). Do you really think they can see the 0.4 cm difference at the check point?

Anyway the 2 wheels version of this suitcase is slighty bigger 1 cm than Ryanair hand luggage size. I have seen a lot of people carrying this suitcase and they never had problem with them. I do not know how did you get above review about 3cm.
