40 or 50 "Free" prints is pretty much the standard introductory offer for most of the photo companies - Photobox is another example.

Check out the reviews of the quality of service before deciding on a supplier, being careful to take into account of what you're likely to want when looking at how the reviewers score the service. What's important to them may not match your requirements.

Indded, but these are rated higly by which and most others charge double the p+p so i thought this was a good deal tbh

Fair point about the postage, if I recall correctly when I signed up with Photobox a couple of years ago (but never actually got around to using) they were charging £1.99 for postage.

Good to know that Snapfish are well thought of by "Which". I've seen a couple of group reviews and I can't honestly recall who took top honours (it wasn't Photobox I know that much - although they did ok and came out tops for speed of delivery on the last review I saw). What did strike me was that they were judging on a very particular set of criteria such fade tests on prints left for 6 months on a notice board. Not of great interest to me that one but the stick the prints in the drawer for six months was more relevant for me. Hence my comment about looking carefully at the scoring.

Also if you register for the "Free" photos you may not have to order straight away (as with Photobox) but in that case do look out for how long the offer is valid for (30 days with Photobox).

Careful- you'll get a strongly worded e-mail from the company.
