this is the same offer that at christmas they didnt want you to find out about.....NOT.

Its a rubbish offer becuase most of their wines are aready on 3 for 2, i.e. 33% off, but you cant use this on those, so you are only getting a further 7% off and paying their expensive prices compared to the supermarkets to start with.

same old threshers con trick. Inflate prices then make them look better by having a 'sale'. Boo

Bottom line....IF you use Threshers already & IF you're buying bottle or three that isn't on an offer already (not everyone bases their purchase on this weeks special offers) THEN this is a great deal (cheers Edi).

Thanks to boam for the reminder :)

Yep, good deal if you only ever buy 3 bottles.

If, however, you want a much bigger discount (about 70% off Threshers rrp prices) then buying half price cases from Tesco and adding the £15 off a £50 spend voucher is the way to go.

Threshers (and the others in the group - Wine Rack, The Local and Haddows) will openly admit that their rrps are much higher then supermarkets. I think a good example is Moet which is normally £30 in Threshers and only £22.74 in Tesco before discounts.

Ask yourself one simple question..
How many bottles of wine do I buy in a ( week, month, year)?

If the answer is one then this offer and the 3 for 2 is NOT for you. Otherwise then it is, Take the Moet example tesco is £22.74 Threshers works out at £19.99 for 3 and £17.99 if you use the voucher and looking at it you can use the voucher for only one bottle ( if you are tha stupid ). I have compared prices at most of the supermarkets and some of their single bottle prices are higher than some of the same wine bought as a single bottle from Threshers. The point I am making is shop around, Just because one price is cheep in Tesco it does not mean that every price is cheep. SUPERMARKETS do use loss leaders you know.

what happened to the current 40% Thresher post.

Seems to have been deleted, any ideas why?

I downloaded the voucher already.

voted cold - can't be used on 2 for 3 deals, and Thresher's single bottle prices are expensive in comparison to elsewhere
