Not sure why you'd want a Freesat TV to be honest. If you have Sky HD you wouldn't need it (or use it) and if you don't/didn't have Sky then you'd have to get a dish installed at extra cost if you don't have one already. But then you'd need a Freesat PVR to record progs which makes a an integrated Freesat TV a bit pointless.

I think Freesat will quietly go away when Freeview HD goes mainstream, certainly not rushing to get it myself.

Good price for the TV though I'd rather get it from amazon

I dont need one, I have Sky HD and 2 x 40W5710 (No Freesat). I just thought it was a good deal as not everyone can afford Sky HD's monthly fees or have a need to record.

Betamax videos sold 2.3 million in 1984 alone :whistling: :whistling: :whistling:

Freesat sold 1 million units in 18 months....

This is prob why the Freesat models are being discounted. I'd buy this TV at this price but not for the Freesat capability but because it's cheaper than the non-Freesat KDL40W5500U which I currently own. That has integrated digital but I rarely use it as I have a Freeview PVR.....
