A quarterly subscription to What Mountain Bike Subscription (9.95 a month) will bag you a pair of Shimano SPD M540 pedals.

The cheapest I've seen these well reviewed M540 SPD pedals for is £27 +P&P with most places selling them for the full £40. I have the cheaper M520 and they are almost bomb proof.

This makes it a brilliant deal if you are after a set of SPD pedals (for road or mountain bike) and a fancy a cheap magazine subsciption.

Oops - please note its £9.95 a quarter by direct debit, not per month !

Just wanted to point out that this very good offer is about to expire. I have just signed up myself.
