Better Late Than Never 40-year old Andy Stizer (Steve Carell) has done quite a few things in his life. He's got a cushy job at an electronics superstore, a nice apartment with a proud collection of action figures. But there's just one thing he hasn't gotten around to doing yet... Andy's never, ever had sex - not even by accident. A big deal?

Well, for Andy's buds at the store, it sure is. Although they think he's a bit of an oddball, they consider it their duty to help Andy out of his dire situation. But nothing works, until he meets Trish (Catherine Keener), a 40-year old mother of three. Andy's friends are psyched by the possibility that 'it' may finally happen... until they hear about an amazing arrangement between the two lovers!

I think you should have made it clear in the title that this is a film - I was mildly curious for a moment! :)

This was on ITV a few weeks back. Didn't bother watching as it had the news and ad breaks in the middle !
Love Steve Carell in the Office US so this sounds pretty good.

I hear ya - thought it was trying way too hard to be funny - which it wasn't in the least..it was a very disappointing watch.

Price sounds right though :whistling:

I hear ya but the thing is - it was supposed to be a comedy movie and lets be honest most US comedies are pretty obvious in their humour :whistling:

The message of the film was easily enough received but it just didn't cut it as a good comedy for me.

Quite a few people that I know had the same opinion - but as we all know it's subjective and what's good for one is not for another
