I buy the 400g sainsburys basic bags for £1.99 taste lovely.

I was in San Francisco and bought a kilo for about a quid. I couldn't believe it. I left them in a carrier bag next to the bin (unopened!!) in our hotel and the stupid bitch maid took them away along with about 15 other American sweets/things we'd only heard about in cartoons and wanted to try. Will I ever know what a Mallowmar, Zagnut or Twinkie tastes like...

Probably sugary filth.

Not a patch on most others, they are all bits for a start!

Nothing special at all.
The Asda cashews are not particularly good either.

Aldi, £1.39 for 200g so =£2.78 for 400g regular price, not a special offer.

Similar prices at Lidl, except theirs come in 250g packs, I forget the exact price, it's a few weeks since I was there; about £1.55 I think, so possibly a little cheaper still, and they tend to be a better flavour too

I usually buy mine from Holland & Barrett when they're on a BOGOF
Anything under a £1 a 100g is good in my humble opionion

In which case why bother using a site like this?
£1 per 100g is a lot more than you need to pay.

I think 2scoops2 is pointing out the "under £1 a 100g is good".
