Ive got this TV, well, mine is the LG 42PC1D...the 'A' on the end of the model number of this one just means it has silver speakers instead of black like mine.

...it's great...especially with Hi-Def inputs like the 360!

On a side not...if you see the LG 42PC1DV a lot cheaper than this...this is becuase it isn't Hi-Def

Thanks. There are so many about it's difficult to see what's best! I don't want him to make a mistake, but, of course, he wants it delivered yesterday! Dixons also have a Samsung 42" for about £30 more which looks to have better reviews here: http://www.dixons.co.uk/martprd/store/dix_page.jsp?BV_SessionID=@@@@0492668551.1177507890@@@@&BV_EngineID=cceiaddkkfmgjffcflgceggdhhmdgmk.0&page=Product&fm=11&sm=undefined&tm=undefined&sku=835874&category_oid=

...because i have the LG, have had it for ages now and love it! WOuld recommend it any day.

Quickly looking at the spec of both the Samsung and the LG, looks like the LG may be slightly better on a few things.

Samsungs are good, they do fabulous LCD panels...of which i have a 40incher aswel, but never really rated their Plasma panels.

Each to their own though
