Must be old stock, OK if you can live without HDMI.
Changed my mind with only a 852 x 480 res I would stay well clear, had an LG Plasma with similar spec some years back, compared to the Samsung Plasma I've got now thats only 720HD it was very poor quality. (CTR's can produce 520 lines).

Perfect for Divx/Xvid.

Morover, this will be very thirsty and have more problems with heat, shorter life, motion blur, colour washing. TVs have come a long way since this was cutting edge 5-7 years ago.

Suitable for some though, say in signage. Obviously you wouldn't want to giv e it toyour kids due to the risk of them burning their hands on the screen.

Also judging by the items code, it's could be made by a company called Swisstec...if anyone fancies doing detective work? :)

Well volunteered that man.

You missed out that it'll probably need a re-gas after 6 months :whistling:

You'd have to be insane to buy this surely?

Heat added because it's an hilarious product.

The lack of a VGA input is somewhat offputting. That's about it though. Most people watch stuff in SD so why pay more for a HDTV?

It's a waste of money because it only has a short lifespan it's no better than a decent CRT. Eventually you will want a TV that will work with other equipment that's available and not limit you.

Plus a descent TV can make standard definition look amazing where as a bad one like this will make it worse than tube. Even if you only watch standard definition things on a good TV the picture can still be stunning.

Seriously no HDMI?

lol imagine, 're-gas' so funny. Who would seriously believe you could re-charge/re-gas a TV. Someone at work said they weren't going to buy a plasma because they needed re-gassing every now and then. So funny, and he was serious too.
