not HD, in case anyone was wondering.

This isn't Korea or America - unlike in those countries, there is so little HD content available on TV here...
I don't want to pay to replace my entire DVD collection with HD versions yet - not that that's even possible yet - and I wouldn't pay the extra just for the sake of video games...
Seems there's such a rush to be 'HD-ready' and the content is lagging behind... I'd rather spend a much smaller amount on a non-HD tv now, then upgrade to a cheap HD tv in 3-4 years or so, when the cheap ones will be so much better than the expensive ones are now. By which time, HD-DVD movies will have started to go down in price too, as will all of the secondary hardware like the DVD players, consoles etc.
