Just bought it for my kids, I have the 58 inch Hisense and I am very happy with it ... The support from Hisense is good and just email them and they will reply quickly... That how got the last update for the 58 inch TV that enables HDR10 ...

Deal expired? it's gone back up to 349 now
#7
Look that expired .... That was quick ..

Yeah...its a bit weird. It came up as £349 for me, then when I refreshed, it said £299 and now it says £349 all the way through to the final page before completing the order.

I got it for that price (£299) ... It was the lowest I have seen for the last month ... The best I have seen was £320....
Maybe tomorrow will be lower or some price as early today ...

8 bit?
#11
yes 8 bit, can process HDR10 ... if you find a 10bit panel for £299, that is insane ... right now ....

Anybody know if this does 4:4:4 or uses PWM?

I know the option I'm going to suggest won't suit everybody - but it's what I opted to do back in August when amazon were struggling to stock this TV. I bought mine as an "as new" refurb from an ebay seller called electrofarm_wastecare - the tv has been really decent in the time I've had it and was well worth the £240 I spent on it (you can separately register manufacturers warranty with Hisense). Basically the same seller has been selling this model of TV periodically since then - 2 or 3 will pop up for about £240 and then 2-3 weeks later some more will pop up.

If you save a search for Hisense 43 on eBay - they'll email you when new listings come up.

It's a good deal from amazon for £300, if it comes back up at that price.

Yeah, if only half the bloody nation had not voted to leave the EU, it might have been that price again. Incidentally, how much do Amazon sell Time Machines for?
