Looks very similar to the one I got from Amazon last month for £13 http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B0086GMF5I/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?qid=1404435318&sr=8-1&pi=AC_SX110_SY165

Looks the same as the one I got in Asda, albeit for £10. They do them in loads of colours to.

We bought a similar one from Argos, the pop up lid broke within a month so we took the bin back and they gave us a new one.

We have had the replacement one about 6 years and it's about had it now, lid doesn't pop up all the way and the 'push' metal button has had to be glued back on.

from my experience lidle and aldi use these sort of deals to get people in. when u get there they had about 5 in stock which are sold out.

are these plastic?

Have these in poundstretcher(same price) alright but nothing special. Button broke within a month.

Yes they are plastic.

Voting Hot on the price as for the price they are good enough. Not a brabantia or Simple Human but they don't cost nearly as much but then they also might not last anywhere near as long and they don't come with a 10year guarantee. As I said though for the price they are good. :)

Got one, can recommend. Took it into Starbucks and asked for a gigante non-fat latte with caramel drizzle, was not disappointed.

I had one of these from dunelm when they had that big sale bout 2 months ago and my button broke a few days ago :(
