  hot as it is good value as kids invariably lose them at school but its nothing new as I got some for my son about 18 months ago!

  When I was at school (eons ago), I could never decide which pencil to use during English lessons: 2B or not 2B; that is the question.

  I agree with sconto. I bought 2 packs of 12 Asda Smart Price pencils with rubbers
  (code 505141358302) on Monday at 20p per packet. So that would be 60 for £1.

  wouldn't recommend these (even thought they are only a quid) as by the time you've sharpened one you only have half a pencil left as the lead breaks very easily & after five mins of use you need to sharpen it again as its snapped.
  
  Try Staedtler HB Pencils (Pack of 12) £3.74 (was 4.99) @ WHSMITH FREE DEL to store but probably instock
  
  i also recommend the following (only a 10 pack available online @ WHSMITH but check instore for a 2 pack)
