Perhaps the Freesat HD will not work in UK,other than that ,just need a kettle lead.
#8
If those specs check out in the uk then that's heat for that price
#9
What a shame that it doesnt have 3D but for people who cant see 3D properly its a bargain.

Ah hang on, someone may want to confirm this but is this not like other LG models where it has a satellite input but not an actual Freesat HD tuner? You can pick up the channels but won't get them in the correct order, will have multiple versions of ITV and only now & next on the EPG (If anything). Yes, it's only a minor issue if that's the case, but it's not the easiest way to browse your Freesat channels.

Doesn't have Freesat built in according to specs..... here

Nearly all manufacturers dropped Freesat HD in favour of Freeview HD. Nice TV though, at a very good price.

50" version is here for £369:

Only 50Hz so not worth it in my opinion. Buy the Samsung UE50H5000 from Richersounds for £399 with 5 year guarantee instead!

You'll likely only get a Now and Next EPG on Freesat what with this being a European (non UK) version.

Comes with a DVB-C tuner so also capable of picking up Cable TV by the looks of it.
#16
Don't forget you will need a Satellite dish for Freesat tuner

Good deal,I just bought one though, just my luck

That's the way it is supposed to be, not in an order and multiple ITVs, with different ITVs for different regions and some just to fill the list. Been using FreeSat on my LG for over a year, ordered the channels the way I wanted to once, still the same. Automatically adds new channels to the list every month, if something comes up. Who told you it is a sorted list? It's not SKY, just freeSat.

Just spend 20-30 mins ordering your channels, the way U want them, it'll keep them that way. There's an option to "skip" the channel that U don't want to see or is a repetition, etc.

It's something I picked up through another thread on here. It's basically because I too own an LG TV with satellite input. I'll admit now I do need to play around with it more and am aware you can re-sort them. However, there are TVs that say they've got Freesat (HD) built in. On my LG one, when selecting the satellite input, the EPG bears a freeview logo in the corner. If it was a 'Freesat built in' TV, you'd have the freesat logo in the corner, the channels would come through in the correct order, you wouldn't pick up a large amount of channels you cannot view without a subscription. I have a freesat box too, which I purchased before I got the LG TV, it too had multiple ITV channels but they were placed on numbers 987 etc so they were out of the way. The channels also came through in the correct order, the EPG provided more data than simply now and next, and by default it didn't pick up channels you weren't able to view (I think you could scan for these channels if you wanted them).

So yeah, the TV can pick up freesat, but it doesn't handle them in the same way a TV that is advertised as having freesat built in would, or how a freesat box would. That's why I said it was a minor issue and not the easiest way to browse freesat channels, but yes, with some effort you can re order them.

Edit: Haven't tried it myself yet, but had this bookmarked: http://sourceforge.net/projects/chansort/

'ChanSort allows you to organize your TV's channel lists on your PC. It supports:
* Samsung's series B,C,D,E and F
* LG's models released 2009-2014 (CS,DM,LA,LB,LD,LE,LH,LK,LM,LN,LS,LT,LV,LW,LX,PH,PM,PN,PT)'

Just to let others know, I bought this ages ago think early january, waited a wile it never arrived I messaged them they said to wait until 30th of january. I did, and when i messaged them at this date they told me they still dont have it in stock and to wait until 7th feb, i told them i hope same thing doesnt happen and it did and they dont have it in stock. I had actually bought it even cheaper than it says on this page, think about £330, but makes no difference since I didnt buy it. Was very frustrating coz made me wait a month.

Although they have given me 8 euros free voucher.
