Just a word of warning, Lastminutes customer service is dire at best. A quick google will show thousands of complaints. I spent 90 mins over 14 calls, just to get them to change the day on a theatre ticket, even tho the box office could of done it instantly if i had gone through them. Also, I was directly lied to three times in attempts to fob me off :). Imho, the savings just arent worth the potential hassle and loss of money, not to mention the £9 I spent on calls to them.

Avoid like the plague!

Was the change in the booking date their fault or your fault? And if you could have done it instantly at the box office if you had gone through them, why didn't you?

Before you get too starry-eyed about it:

"[FONT=arial][SIZE=2]Your meal is two course from a selected pre-theatre menu. Any additional items such as additional courses or drinks are not included."

"Selected" to be the cheapest, of course!

What do you expect for £20? Lobster and caviar?
£20 for even the theatre ticket on its own is a bargain.

Joseph - £20 per ticket + £1 booking fee x 2 = £42.

Yet at checkout it jumps to £52.

Edit - Booking fee of £10, after adding £1 booking free straight away :x

£26 per ticket for me :(

I've never had any problems with these deals from lastminute. I did a dinner at spamalot for £20 and it was great. I expected the very cheapest seats, but at the theatre we got upgraded to middle of the stalls - fantastic seats. (obviously that won't necessarily happen every time but I thought it was a nice touch that they didn't consider us inferior citizens because we were on such a cheap deal.) The meal was good and the dishes you could select weren't the cheapest - there was actually a very good range.

Thanks a lot, exactly the one I was interested in! Much appreciated. Glad to hear that the food is decent too, but anyway at that price you still can afford to buy your own food on the side and skip the restaurant if you don't like it, it's still cheaper than the normal tickets.

Yes cold for me to, as not offered in Canada

Is this available on the moon, if not then i'm voting cold.

Only joking. Thanks for posting. Recently saw Rainman plus had meal at Tiger Tiger for £40 each person and that was still good value. Rainman (with Josh Harnett) was awesome by the way, and very funny and touching.

Erm no, but the hard of thinking might imagine that the "meal" will be their usual boozy blowout for nothing. It won't.

Yes, I found Last Minute customer service appalling too.
Voted hot but not buying because we want to see Blood Brothers as our son is doing it as part of his GCSE English (perhaps thats why its £41 each !!!)
These theatres should offer a reduced price to students who are studying it, after all if it wasn't part of the English curriculum it wouldn't be as long running or popular would it??

Got Sound of Music tickets and 3 course meal at LaTasca with wine for £21 AND on a Saturday. Cracking deal.

You have my deepest sympathy. :-D

I don't think it would make the slightest bit of difference with these populist productions, to be honest. Blood Brothers is hardly Shakespeare...

Used this offer before and had a good night. Don't expect anything other than a basic meal but the tickets I got were very good.
#19
just phoned the scottish parliament who informed me there are no theatres left in scotland they were recently turned into prisons so voted hot.

I hope most people would be sensible enough to realise that:thinking:

They do! Most theatres sell really cheap tickets to students in the last hour before the curtain goes up. You can get up to 75% off ;-)

Edit: Blood brothers is also in the 241 deal:

Wasn't it this price always?

I've had this meal and ticket deal with them before. The food was more than adequate, seats were not too bad either. Voted hot.
