Glass of wine and breakfast...my kind of place:-)))

Cant complain for that sort of money - would cost £48 just to have a 3 course meal in a basic restaurant.

Looks lovely and great price

You buy the voucher not the room. If you cant exchange the voucher for a room i.e. due there being no vacancies you are up the creek.

Also, in the likely event that not enough people book this deal, no-one gets to go!

The rooms at this place are gorgeous, there are 6 bedrooms in total and they are all individually themed. The Louis IVI is the best with a big 4 poster bed. I haven't eaten here for a while, the food used to be quite good but the last time I went they overcooked my salmon which p1ssed me off as even I can cook a salmon fillet properly! The dining room part of the pub is lovely as well, really nicely decorated and there's a log fire as well which is nice now the nights are drawing in.

It says the voucher lasts for 3 months. Does to stay have to be in that period, or just the booking?

just bought it... I phoned the hotel and even upgraded to their "honeymoon suite" for an extra £25 ... apparently the best room they have.

come on guys.. less than £50 for 2 3 course meals and a night in a good hotel.. followed by breakfast is amazing value.

We're taking the opportunity to do some xmas shopping, so if you book for the 17th of december then give us a shout and we'll share a beer at the bar!

oh... you have a choice of 5 rooms when you book.. the 6th room is the one we upgraded to. You just take a print out of your voucher on the day.

I didn't think the vouchers had been issued yet?

well i phoned them up to ask how it worked and she said I could book now and just bring in the voucher when we arrived. I didn't want to buy the voucher and then find out that the hotel was full on the 2 dates we could make.

A woman there said it wasn't a problem... took our £25 upgrade fee and said "bring your printed voucher when you check-in"

she was really helpful

Very tempted by this, sorry to be thick but who did you phone the hotel direct or Groupon Direct?

What happens if not enough people have signed up to the deal on groupon and it's cancelled - will you get your £25 upgrade fee back that you've already paid?
