Only missing part is it's not 4k :(
That's probably why it's this price !! I looked at a Vauxhall Astra for £11,000 but was disappointed it wasn't a Mercedes.

I was waiting for a decent 4K TV for ages but ended up getting this to put me on for the next year or so.

Good find. There seems to be a price war on the Full HD TV's atm. Great for us!

Good deal with the 5yr warranty.

Got mine from Argos for £377 after Quidco including the Sony HT CT180 Soundbar.

Standard warranty with Argos though.

Does this TV have a digital optical port?
Try the RicherSounds link that someone above gave or ideally the manufacturer's website as that's usually definitive:

I have an old LG lcd 1080p tv from about 6 years ago still works perfectly back then it only cost about £350. Would there be much advantage in buying this mainly for video games. Would the picture and higher refresh be a big change? would have rather 3 or 4 hdmi slots but could make do with 2.

I currentley have a Samsung 4K in my front room. I am tempted to move that to my games room and buy this for the front room. Question is will I notice a difference when watching TV? My understanding is the 4K tv is wasted on watching normal TV as it is not yet filmed in 4K? Or should I save up and buy a second 4K set?

I don't have a 4K TV but the but most people's opinions I have seen recently indicate that you will notice no difference; in fact the non-4k TV may actually display the SD / HD feeds better than the 4k TV does.

yes. l had one of these and the xpro reality engine is sublime, by far a better picture and the lag is about 30ms, so not noticeable and easily playable. hope this helps!

You could use a couple of these: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/3-In-1-Out-UHD-3D-4K-HDMI-Switcher-Switch-Selector-Video-Connectors-for-HDTV-DVD-/321837675007?hash=item4aef0531ff:g:mt4AAOSwgQ9VncXv

I've got one as current TV only has 4 HDMI and I've got about 9 different devices to connect. Saves constantly yanking out the cables and damaging the ports on the TV!

I have noticed a massive difference from my old samsung tv and my ips monitor for playing ps4 games. The samsung is a 50hz. I would prefer a standard tv to play my ps4 on. Would this be suitable and a noticeable difference from my old samsung?
Thanks

Depends if you like LCD tv's as thick as CRT tv's.

Lol, hisense doesn't look like it'll look good if wall mounted.

If you use 6 HDMI's then you need to get a AVR.

I think a better comparison would be that you looked at a Mercedes for £11,000 but it didn't have the voice control [ or some other pointless feature ] that a Vauxhall Astra has.

Make sure you turn off the "ambient sensor" unless you want the TV going light-dark constantly. It will drive you crazy. Look up settings advice online and you will eventually get a stunning picture. 4K is a red herring at the moment so dont worry that it doesn't have it. The Hisense tv's mentioned are not in the same league as the Sony's. Look up the reviews. Great price and great find. Cheap as chips for a decent 48 inch smart tv and a 5 year warranty to boot.

You don't need 4k for most content. Even Blu-ray - the highest quality standard is mostly 1080p.
Only a few 4k titles out, only of them only a few real 4k - rest is upscaled.
