Only review I could find on this.

Fantastic

This is fantastic. I have this for both of my Wii remotes and it charges them fine. But you have to take the Wii Jacket off to charge it. Plus make sure you get a high mAh battery so it lasts longer. Overall this is highly recommended!

If your with Amazon Prime then delivery is free.

If it's like the one I got, which replaces the stand that the wii sits in, and allows you to charge 2 wii remotes, then you get a new back for your remote which takes 2 AAA batteries, and has 2 small metal plates which line up with the 2 things you can see inside the cradle shown, so when you put the remote in the cradle it starts charging. The wii needs to be either on (green light) or on standby (yellow light) to charge, not red light though. I'd recommend it.

If your not it isn't. Not everyone is, like me. The delivery charge is still valid and should be in the title price.

What's wrong with just using rechargeable batteries?

The difference is that when you are not playing on the wii the remote is charging. That means that when you are halfway through a song on Guitar Hero your remote will not die on you and then you have to change the batteries and c**k up any chance of a good score when you had made a good start:x:x:x (sorry for the bit of a rant at the end)

Hi, How do you get the Wii to display an yellow light, I had a twin usb charger set that wouldnt charge unless the Wii was on (green light), on red it wouldnt charge?

Is the yellow light some form or powered usb standby mode?

Seems this quad version [plus 2 nunchucks] will allow charging when the Wii is switched off http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B001DXC85I/ref=pd_luc_sbs_01_03

So does the "new back" come with this or do you have to buy it seperately?

From what I see what you are buying here is a charger you need to
buy the battery pack seperately.
perhaps Try www.dealextreme.com for the whole lot, I got a duel charger
and two battery pack delivered for less than £8.
Hope this helps?

I think that if you've used your Wii online, then it has the facility to go into standby mode, or yellow. Might be wrong.

Yes the new back is the most important part, and it is included. I seem to remember buying the batteries from amazon or maplin, so I don't think they were included.

I think your right, I put my Wii online and it updated then when pushing the power button on the remote it turns the Wii off with an orange light, if I use the power button on the Wii it goes red...

Expensive for what it is, p&p extra, and no batteries.
