SVP Communications are doing 4GB USB pen drives at a stupidly good price. I'm sure as with all computer stuff they will only get cheaper but this seems to be the best price for a 4GB USB pen right now.

The price comes up as £12.98

If you sign up to the site (free) then login you get a slight reduction on all their products taking the price to £12.85

Delivery is £1.49

You can also get an extra 3% cashback by going to "SVP" from your quidco account :)

Hope this is a good deal for you peeps...

EDIT - Apologies....The newsletter thing you have to sign up for the few pence off is actually here http://svp.co.uk/hukd.php Its a long running promotion for HUKD members

£14.61 to be precise.VAT to be added to P&P.:)
Site working BTW.
Edit:If you buy more than one,the P&P price goes up accordingly but still works out less per unit.2 = £28.04 delivered.3 = £41.14

If it doesn't work (which it defintately seems to) ;)

Try...

This is their mirror site.

Any ideas on how fast this drive is? As you buy larger flash drives, it becomes critical to only buy fast ones.

btw - I do not mean the spec, I mean real-world tests. Many drives claim to be USB 2.0 but when they come to the test, there are major differences between drives.
#12
works fine here, perhaps dns issues flush the dns perhaps :)
#13
It was a DNS isue (just tried OpenDNS on my PC, and it works now, but using BT's DNS it's borked)
#14
what's their working IP?

EDIT: no worries, just set my dns to opendns servers
#15
Not working here with OpenDNS.
#16
WOW! I also need a 512MB stick, which one would you reccomend form that site?
#17
They look like Sumvision ones. I have a 1gb one, had it for over 1 year and no problems. Would prefer sticks with security software though.
#18
aha, have lunch, come back site working..thanks, already voted hot.

For less than 50p more, personally I'd go the Play 4Gb drive for £14.99 (recently posted here at HUKD) + 4% Quidco.

I bought the 2gig one of these from ebuyer but it overheated the 2nd time I used it melted all the glue inside so I lost all my work on it. I wouldn't advise buying this as ebuyer replaced it without any fuss or me having to send mine back which made me think there had been a few problems with this
#21
Stick with a decent brand eg Kingston
#25
u can get a brilliant Sandisk 4gig , Windows vista readyboost and also U3 functionality (www.u3.com) for not much more on amazon...

£16.99 delivered

the posted offer wouldnt be bad if buying a bit of stuff and u can get cheap shipping. thanks for posting.

this looks exactly the same as the 2gb versions we bought for work, they didnt even last a month got some freecom and kingston ones to replace them and had no problems. its a good deal but if there the same build there not worth it.

Guys I thought I should warn you about these specific usb pen drives. They are absolute rubbish! they fail so much. I had two fo them and they all stopped working and a friend of mine also has the same kind of problems with them. after a while they will show a reduced amount of size you can use, will sometimes just freeze until they are no longer working.

I thought I should warn you. :)

Site working for me today, but decided not to go for one after so much negative feedback on the web about this usb drive.
