Which ones were those then?

One really only 'needs' low latency RAM for overclocking, high-end gaming systems &/or if one's a performance freak (no offence meant or intended to anyone). Even then, the performance gain if any, is miniscule at best - & more psychological I'd imagine.

When it is as cheap as higher latency memory you might as well go for the faster product :whistling:

Its like having an Ipod touch 8gb & 16gb for the same price and choosing the 8gb because you don't think you will need 16gb of space :roll:

I would never pay top money for low latency memory because the cost is not worth the performance gain but when there is no additional cost it's a no brainer

You seemed to have missed my point :roll:. Was merely trying to be consolatory towards ash.connor that it isn't something he should be too disappointed in (now that the deed was done). Choosing slightly lower-spec RAM shouldn't matter too much.

Would really like some of this but £7.99 (incl VAT) for standard delivery seems pretty extreme for a couple of sticks of ram!
