great price.

Would you be cheaper getting an 4GB SDHC (£9.99 @ www.play.com) card for £10 and use an existing PRO DUO adapter sleeve?

I'm genuinely asking this question - not criticising the deal, since I'd like to upgrade my PSP memory card.

That is to say - does anyone know if going the cheaper route will NOT work for most PRO DUO applications?

not sure about that...i would rather pay the extra fiver and get a pro duo card just so you know it will work. saying that i have a duo slot in the sony laptop so its an easy decision for me.

ms duo adapters are not that expensive. I bought this one from ginger6 and it performs just as well as my pro duo card in my psp and its sdhc compatible too

Excellent price :)

Paid £12.99 for 2GB few weeks ago @ Play.

Note - ginger6 charge £3.62 for recorded delivery, I bought 2 so it wasn't so bad.

But I'd say buy the Sandisk 4GB M2 card that comes with a Pro Duo adaptor and supports magic gate and is under £15

This method is faster and is a genuine sony card for £2 cheaper, and supports more devices. There is no need to buy a 4GB duo while the M2's with adaptors are cheaper.

If choosing an 8GB card then there are other options much cheaper than an actual 8gb duo.

Thanks, last time I looked it was about £15 for the 4GB Micro SDHC and about £10 for the adaptor.

This is for the MICRO sd card, I wouldn't have thought a standard SD card would fit as it is slightly bigger than a Pro Duo

That's pretty cool, quite tempted. I have heard mixed reports of compatability with users with those adapters though. How much is the cheapest genuine 8GB pro duo card I wonder...

Looking at amazon (marketplace sellers) and found a couple of 8GB genuine cards (so they claim) for under £30 delivered...
