Don't see why ppl vote this cold tbh. It's been posted a few times with good comments already.

Apart from the brand you're getting value for money for that amount of GB - I have this player and the only shortcoming is that 1) it uses batteries 2) The manual that comes with it is pure rubbish. Plug in a new set of headphones rather than default one and you've just bagged yourself a bargain.
Yep, agree this is'nt that bad, for the price... i also brought 2 of the sony 2gb from Play.com. But this would do for someone out there im sure.. 4gb is a good size too.hot.
Yeah, I've got one of these, too, and it's not at all bad.

In fact, using batteries rather than being rechargeable can be quite an advantage when you're away from home for a while without easy access to a mains supply (such as camping). Saves having to carry a charger with you, too...
