Are people craaazy voting this cold... This is an excellent price. Even the fakes on ebay and amazon cost around this much :p

I got the Sony 4Gb Pro Duo one from a popular auction site for £31.50 delivered, from a UK supplier with 500+ positive feedbacks. Working perfectly in the kid's PSP.

Johnnyboy, in the PSP's main menu screen, highlight the memory card icon under any of the main menus (music, photos, game, etc) and press triangle and you get a menu pop-up on the right. Choose information. Here you get several stats for your card. If magicgate is stated as "Unknown" then you have a fake...

Of course, if your memory card is not magicgate enabled anyway, then it will be "Not supported"...

Re. Jeff.

I got a fake one of a dodgy auction site, for £25 inc del. It works great in both my lil bro's PSP and my Sony Ericsson Walkman phone. Had it a few months now - works fine. You right about it not saying 'Magicgate' but then, if it works, oh well.

I also have a fake one that i bought from Amazon market place before i was aware that fake ones were in circulation. It does work fine, but with no magicgate support as confirmed by my PSP.

I was just trying to point out to johnnynoy that despite the card working fine (as ours do), chances are, if bought from an auction site, it will be a fake.

Aamazing deal Shaz...voted hot!! :)

I've just got myself a free Sony Erricson W850i and would like a decent 4GB stick for music...will this 'gaming' one work fine in this phone anyone? I do know of a few issues (depending on phone firmware/software) like it being slow to access.

I wouldn't buy off eBay - too many fakes

Mine was delivered yesterday. That and the latest 3.10OE-A`firmware has given my PSP a whole new lease of life after nearly 12 months of gathering dust.

Bargain!

I'm pretty sure it will work no worries in a SonyEricsson phone.
The 'Gaming' part in the name makes no difference. It's still a 4gb memory stick.

Personally I would never buy a memory stick from eBay. If you value you the data you're putting on the stick, and want fast read/write access then get the official stick.

If you don't care about losing the data (or performance), and can accept that it may die on you in a couple of months, go the eBay route

Yea, the 4gb gaming cards will work in most newer sony ericsson phones like the w850.

I wouldnt bother buying fake cards off gaybay either... Like kowalski said, they have slow transfer speeds and dont last very long. And most phones wont even recognise them... dodgy stuff those fakes.... avoid. ;-)
