These are also available from Amazon at the same price (sold by Amazon not a marketplace seller).

If you want a REAL sony memory stick ONLY buy it from a shop, almost everything like that on eBay and Amzon is fake, all the cards I bnought from Amazon have fallen apart now, they are held together with tape!!!
The Memory stick that Play.com are doing is a good price, although you can get the high speed san disk from www.picstop.co.uk for £31.99 plus £2.50 postage.
These are a lot better than the sony one's as they access the information on the stick way quicker.

This shows you some of the differences between fake and genuine cards, although it's not a definitive guide, as the bootleggers can change production methods and specs fairly easily.

As a general rule though, the way to tell a fake memory card is by looking at the printings and the corners. If the genuine article from the manufacturer's website has curves and yours doesn't, chances are that if you google further, you'll find evidence to show that yours is a fake.

Best way to check if a memory card is fake is to go into the PSP menu, goto Photo/Video/Music etc and select "Memory Stick".Then press Triangle and select "Information" from the menu.If the card supports MagicGate,it's genuine.

I'm sure it does work fine ... until it falls apart and melts in your PSP.

Sandisk M2 4GB Card at play seems cheap:

http://www.play.com/Mobiles/Mobile/4-/3382025/Sandisk-M2-4GB-Card/Product.html

Can anyone beat this for an M2 card with adaptor?
#15
Also can I use it in my PSP using the adaptor?

no this is not compatible with the w580i, you will need a memory stick micro (m2)
