4 megapixels for a kid? I don't know much about cameras but I thought 4 megpixels was semi decent!

Seems like a bargain to me, am tempted...

Yes but it's what's in the electronics/lens/build quality that matter..and at this price they are going to be bog standard.

I only let my kids play with 2 megapixels max, anything higher might damage their optic nerves.

i bought the premier ds 5065 from superdrug a few months ago as it was half price so got a 5meg camera for £25 but when brother went to buy one for his wife (it was pink) it had gone back to full price so if you want the camera i would get it quick as its prob only on for a week until its back up to full price. these are great cameras to keep in your bag or car as nice and cheap

brought one and think it is great.

might be a bit naive here but how would it damage their optic nerve??? my son has had cameras for about 3 years and it never leaves his neck, uses it every day and 2meg is the lowest meg camera he has ever had and his eyes are perfect and he uses the screen to take a pic

I bought one of these on the last offer for my son,Takes excellent photos, also works with 1GB card no problems.at this price they are a steal.

The same reason we I bought my daughter a Nitsokishi ikkyjuk 64MB MP3 player (for £7.99), when in fact she really wanted a 60GB Video Ipod - I was concerned it might explode her eardrums.

And when she's old enough to drive, she's getting a Perodua.

i don't suppose you know my father do you, i'm hoping to get an old peageot 306 and he offered me an old vw rabbit with only 2 seats, says he's doing me a favour as he's getting it off a family friend who can "fix" it if it breaks down, although he knows nought about cars and is therefore selling his renovation project, my new car. :x having said that i do admire my dad's ability to pretend everything's fine even when his time/money saving purchase is going horribly wrong.

No, but he sounds like a fine man, I'd also never give my daughter a car with back seats.

You honestly think the Pug will break down less than the VW?!!!! :giggle:

I think you should be damn grateful that you are getting a car at all!

not when i'm paying for 1/2 out my own pocket as well as insurance and upkeep but i appreciate the £50 or whatever my dad's putting in none the less, how much could the car be worth anyway?

Yes, I bought it for my son (11) as he has been asking for a camera for a while. I guess for £20, you can't go wrong. At least now he'll keep away from my expensive camera.

Sure this is national, I think there was an advert in the Sun last Saturday 26th.

There was an ad in the Metro (free morning newspaper) last Friday for aother camera for £15. I went to get one of them but they had sold out. I think that one didn't have an optical zoom.

These are still available at my local Superdrug. Looks a fantastic deal for less than £20

Shame I just purchased the Kodak hot deal for £33 a week a go as this looks equivelent.

I took some photos yesterday. The quality was very good.
