As of this afternoon Morrisons have cut the price of unleaded and diesel by 4p/litre at their filling stations. The price drop is across all Morrisons filling stations having seen the email sent to all stores(i work for Morrisons). This has brought our unleaded down to 113.9p but some were as low as 111.9p

I cant complain I guess - vegetable oil is currently 90p a litre in bulk which was a whack less than the £1.40 a litre they were charging on the motorway.

Fine, if you want to use supermarket fuel in your car - mine doesn't run on it.
#19
why not Tesco - I want to use my 5p off a litre voucher but they are dearer than even the Shell garage which is almost always the dearest in the area.

Nothing to do with vanity, just how the engine runs and what the manufacturer recommends

prey tell what the car is then ....

They can recommend what they want but 9/10 it wont make a difference when it comes to filling up your car. They have all been tested and the premium petrols are hardly any cleaner and dont produce and extra power etc like they claim

Damn i just filled up £53 worth at tesco on friday but had a 5p off voucher

I was going to fill up at Sainsbury's about 20 mins ago, but the queue was too long so I decided to wait until tomorrow - brilliant, Morrisons here I come

The only difference between petrol, is 95 or 99 octane, unless your driving a mitsubishi evo or something tuned to a similar level, you dont use 99 octane (unless your a naive fool) and even if you do need to use that grade of fuel, they sell it at most supermarkets anyway.
as for diesel, that makes no odds whatever, you may as well use cooking oil!!

What fuel specification does your car manufacturer specify in their handbook then?
(which manufacturer & type of car is that?)

I just picked up some inferior supermarket fuel, it was worth diluting the BP petrol in there for 114.9p Per/L

Is it real ..does my car feel slower now..maybe it's the extra weight of 25L in the tank (my car only weighs 800kg)..

Get some before they sell out!

Good deal, hope Tesco follow suit, although I did fill up last week with the 5p/l voucher which brought it down to the lows of ... 112.9p. :(
