The one's from Vapextech are superb, shame HUKD don't add them to the list of retailers.

Yes they are a higher capacity at 2100 m/ah, and what makes you think they are not as good ?
Many people on this forum, including myself, use Vapextech. In fact its because of how good they are that they're the only make of batteries i use now...... and they are cheaper than your deal.
Hence why your deal is ice cold.

some reviews out there where people have used vapex but rate these better , maybe just a personal view im going to try these in my metaldetector so if they are not up to the job this will test them to the limit

My experience with Vapextech is they are quite good but now I will always pay the extra for better quality. Kodak, Sony and the new type last a lot longer as well.

Agree totally. Thee are MANY users on here, and it matters not how many times we say it, but if they feel better paying more for Sanyo, then let them get on with it!

That's a decent price for a pack of Sanyo Eneloop's, so it's a good deal.

For those voting cold because there are different batteries available that you think are better, your comments posted in the thread are helpful but that's not a reason to vote it cold.

That's your opinion. Clearly others disagree.

Compare it to real life: It would be an odd thing to do - recommend someone buy something when you know, and DO buy an alternative to it, which you believe is better and cheaper. Well that's what voting something hot does - it effectively recommends it.

I dont only think they are better, they are also cheaper.
Thats a perfectly valid reason to vote cold.

I'm not saying people shouldn't post and recommend that they think there is a better quality product, but voting a deal cold because of it seems a poor reason to do so. You don't need to vote it hot or cold, can't you just post your comment? Biker Jeff, fair enough.....

Although, perhaps a bit different, but if someone posted a deal for a 16GB iPod that was a great price, but because you know iPods are generally expensive and you could get a similar spec Sony Walkman for cheaper, does that automatically make the iPod deal someone has posted cold?

Fair enough if you disagree, just posting my two cents worth as there seems to be an awful lot of reasonable deals getting voted cold on here these days!
